| Dr. Peter Taylor is a lifelong
resident of the Bay Area. Born in Berkeley, he was raised in Oakland and
graduated from Menlo-Atherton High in Atherton. U. C. Berkeley was his
home for seven years as he did both his undergraduate and optometry school
work there. His vision care education included work with unusual and difficult
contact lens care at Stanford Hospital and at the Pacific Medical Center
in San Francisco. He has both his B.S. and O.D. degrees "with Honors"
from Cal. During his undergrad years at Berkeley he was a member of the
Cal crew team. Dr. Taylor and his family have lived in the San Jose area
since 1985. He and his wife have two boys who enjoy a variety of activities
including Little League baseball, basketball, and soccer. Pete continues
his rowing with the Los Gatos Rowing Club, and he is active in the Los
Gatos United Methodist Church. His primary interests in vision care include
unusual contact lens designs and laser vision correction care.
